Dongfeng has established joint ventures and collaborations with well-known brands around the world.

On June 16, 2003, Dongfeng and Nissan established a joint venture and invested in five large production bases in China, engaged in the research and development, procurement, manufacturing, sales, and service of NISSAN brand passenger cars. It is one of the domestic automotive enterprises with a full value chain.

In 2003, Dongfeng and Honda established a joint venture and built three factories in China. The first factory covers an area of 760000 square meters with a building area of 310000 square meters, the second factory covers an area of 1.05 million square meters with a building area of 350000 square meters, and the third factory covers an area of 983000 square meters. The company has a research and development center with strong R&D technical capabilities, as well as advanced production workshops for stamping, welding, synthetic resin, coating, engine casting, mechanical processing, transmission shaft, engine assembly, and automotive final assembly.

Founded on May 18th, 1992 and headquartered in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile Company Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as DPCA) is a JV business for automobile production and operation that is jointly invested in by DFM and the Peugeot Citroen Group. DPCA is one of China’s first three major passenger vehicle manufacturing industry bases planned and built according to economic scale. It currently has three production bases and controls five major factories.

On Mar.29th, 2002，Dong Feng and Kia establish joint-venture Dongfeng Yueda Kia Auto corp. to produce Kia bran cars in China and acheived outstanding outcome in all over China.

On Jan.26, 2013, Dong Feng and Volvo establish strategic alliance for all commercial vehicles' producing and marketing in China.

In 2014, Dong Feng and Infiniti establish joint-venture companu to produce Infiniti brand passenger cars in China based on good cooperation with Nissan.

In 1996, Dong Feng and American Cummins establish joint-venture company to produce full range of automobile engines to supply all over Chinese market. Also after 30 years cooperation, Dong Feng already gain full research and techonology for aumobile enigne desin and production.
